First up, Gasquet vs Istomin. Meg and Sarah were also at this match, had a little chat to them.
Mum being a creep:
The french dudes were sitting near us this time, they were back again with their "allez richard" sung to the tunes of the yellow submarine, yankee doodle, ect. This time though, they were kind of collaborating with the "gasquet fans in the stand, let me hear you clap your hands" girls. I dont understand why they keep sitting behind the umpires chair, theyre not getting a good view of the match from there.
Also, in the middle of the first set, Reese walks out stands right in front of us, and linesmans for most of the match. what a suprise.
Denis Istomin had ridiculously long legs.
Then the moment of destiny happened, right after this:
eye contact + half nod= marriage.
Juan Martin Del Potro being tall.
Just walked around a bit after that. Watched the first set of Radek Stepanek and Michael Berrer. As much as i dont like Stepanek, he is pretty amusing to watch.
Later on, Vaidosova was watching.
Saw Safin training again with Andreev, Hiroshi was really proud of himself because he was wearing the same UnderArmour shorts as Andreev.
Then we were just wandering around, we happened to see monaco/someone vs tipsarevic/troicki. The serbian pair lost, but after the match these serbian men around 60 years old, grabbed tipsarevic for a photo. It was really violent grabbing. He was not happy at all, and he was saying something in Serbian to them, and he kind of refused to look into the camera. Which is understandable, because really, i would not want anyone grabbing me like that ever. Then Troicki walked past and they got a photo with him as well, he is really confused, i dont know if it was just that moment, or if he has the confused/scared look permanently on his face. Much like how Paul Henri Mathieu has a crazy face.
Oh, and mum is the worst wing man ever. Juan Monanco was walking, and i asked if i could get a photo with him, but mum dropped the camera and we were both just standing there waiting for her to take the photo but she took forever, and there was a long moments of "im really sorry about this", "no, its alright", "mum! the button at front, im really sorry", "no, its fine". Then mum's "got it!"... WHICH SHE DIDNT!!!!!!!!!!
Also, Jarkko Nieminen, why is he still here? i thought he lost? unless its not him.
Then, what we found on the Australian Open website.
