Australian Open: Day Two

TUESDAY: I went up with Josephine today. I dont know how I got up to go, I was half dead from being sleep deprived and having only eaten a slice of pizza in 24 hours.

First up saw Richard Gasquet vs Diego Junqiuera on court 3. It was already ridiculously hot by 11. It did not help that Gasquet lost the first set in a tie break.

By the third set, it was too hot, and we had to leave for a set to hide in the shade, but there was no where to sit in Rod Laver Arena, so ended up sitting outside in semi shade while the Aviva guy was pretending he was a rotating door.
We went back for the 4th set, and I have to say, it was a pretty ugly match. For someone who was a little tubby and short, Junquiera did a really good job of not getting tired or at least pretending to not look tired. Gasquet on the other hand, looked like he was going to die.

Apparently it got to about 40 degrees during the match. So wow! Claps to Gasquet!

The saw Safina pracitising. She seems to have changed appearance wise alot since last year. She's gotten really pretty!

Then watched some Ernest Gulbis vs Albert Montanes (?)

Gubis is so cute with his ravishing fluffy red hair. He seemed to be going quite well.

Then saw a few people practising. Dudi Sela was playing. Tomic was pracitising. Dimitry Tursunov was pracitising, we saw him check a girl out! haha!

The finished off our day by watching Stefan Koubek vs Mikhail Youzhny. The battle of the crazies! Except only Youzhny was screaming, being his hot angry russian self. Also, Koubek has a belly button piercing, which is wierd.
